Flood Factor is a great resource for finding out the probability of flooding where you live. It is a free online tool created by the nonprofit First Street Foundation. It makes it easy for Americans to find their property’s risk of flooding and to understand how flood risks are changing because of a changing environment. According to Flood Factor, Pearland properties have a 31% risk of flood exposure.  Houston sits at 34%.
