Master Bathroom Leak In Friendswood, TX

The Damage: The tank from the homeowners bathroom toilet cracked, releasing gallons of water into the bathroom which flowed into the master bedroom.

What SERVPRO Did: From the moment SERVPRO of Friendswood/Pearland got on site we set to work removing the wet drywall. Seen in the before picture, we identify which walls are wet by marking it with blue painters tape. Once the wet drywall had been removed and replaced the carpet was dried and shampoo'd back to perfection.

Why SERVPRO Did It: Leaving wet drywall in a home will breed mold and produce a mildew smell. The faster it is removed, the better.

The Result: The homeowners were able to remain home during the mitigation process and the room was restored after three days.
