Harvey Flooded Basement In Pasadena
The Damage: The infamous storm, Hurricane Harvey, hit Houston on August 25th 2018. With it came hundreds of gallons of water. The commercial basement seen here luckily retained only a small amount of liquid.
What SERVPRO Did: In some areas, water had to be pumped out from underneath the building. We tested and removed all mold then preformed a standard mop up.
Why SERVPRO Did It: Sitting water underneath a building can cause health issues for those above it. Left untouched, a basement or a crawlspace such as this one can become the perfect breeding ground for mold. It loves dark, damp areas. Thanks to SERVPRO's many locations we are able to call upon STORM teams to assist our area in times of crisis. This ensure your business and your family is taken care of when you need us most.
The Result: With minimal damage, this business recovered quickly and was open as soon as the roads were free of water.
