Outlet Fire

The Damage: The homeowners had plugged in a high voltage vacuum which caused the outlet to spark and burst into flame. 

What SERVPRO did: We rewired the entire living room and had the other rooms inspected for faulty wiring. This required us to remove the drywall and burnt insulation. Once finished, the drywall and insulation was replaced and painted over.

Why SERVPRO did it: Over time, electrical wiring will emit a weaker voltage. As our society becomes more dependent on electrical items, we use up more of the power stored in the walls until the wires can't take anymore.

The Result: The family can safely use their powerful vacuum in their home without worry.
